Spotlight on Ms. Mobley

Those who don’t know about our Parent Association for Student Success (PASS) program, please take a moment to read this article…

The PASS program was designed to assist parents in the process of fulfilling their God-given responsibility of training and educating their children to equip them for every good work and for the advancement of the kingdom of God. Since we launched the program in 2013, we have had approximately 75 families complete and graduate the PASS program. Not only do these families have access to amazing benefits to include half off and in some cases free registration for each child for the duration of their attendance at NCA, but they also have the opportunity to build a bridge between parents and administration.

The PASS program works as a partnership between the school and home to help provide the best resources for the students to encourage their success and progression in the world as a Christian communicator, thinker and servant-leader. The PASS program gives the school administration as well as the parents, at home, the opportunity to lead by example and show the students first-hand what exactly it is to work in tandem. For the 2016-2017 school year, our PASS parents collectively completed a total of 1,701 hours volunteering for various school-related events and activities and donated a total of $5,423.27 in school related goods and equipment for the classrooms, athletic programs and campus events!

Ms. Tiwanda Mobley joined PASS in 2015. Since then she has unwaveringly shown her support for NCA. She has attended some of our Continuing Educations classes with the Five Points of Christian Education series; donated over $500 last year to sporting equipment and supplies for our student athletes and was recognized as our top monetary contributor for the 2016-2017 school year! Additionally, she was the second runner up for Parent of the Year for the 2016-2017 school year. We are also pleased to announce and recognize Ms. Mobley as being the first parent to not only complete, but EXCEED her required volunteer service hours for the 2017-2018 school year as of August 20, 2017- that’s right, only two weeks into the new school year!!! From the bottom of our hearts, the NCA administration would like to take the time to publicly thank you for all that you have done, are doing and continue to do in support of our mission and vision.
